is it possible to raise bannie hens and heavy breed hens in same coop

Yes you can mix them, but keep an eye out for a bit to make sure they get along. Especially if you have a heavy breed rooster and banty hens that the rooster might mate and possibly injure.

i have one bannie hen and 12 heavy breed all was fine but now they are pecking on the bannie for no reason any suggestions besides seperation

I have a bantam Cochin hen in with 12 heavies as well. She holds her own very well. She will even put my very large LB Cockerel in his place and she can walk under him between his legs. I would just keep an eye on them, but they should be okay.

I have decided not to add bantams to my flock of standards.. because I am afraid they would hurt them.. Pecking/picking on hen their own size can be really hard on her BUT on a bantam it might be killed and I am not willing to go thru that...JMHO
