MJ's little flock

That sounds like loads of fun. We had a BYCer not long after I started greeting that took off on a year long sailing adventure and brought his chickens (I think two of them) with him.

I'm good and nothing new on my front. Spent most of Friday with an editor making changes to emails that my new workflow generates. I had to explain the whole concept of dynamically generated text and how I can't control the punctuation or capitalization that the user inputs into the database. What they type is what goes into the email.

They're quite a sailing family, which is a nice connection for us. My ancestors weren't sailors but they were seafaring. Every now and then we get talking about the olden days and the ketches that used to keep colonial South Australia functioning.:old

That's interesting! I imagine it would be quite challenging to keep chickens aboard. Was it a big yacht? Hope so.

Big enough for one person to live on comfortably, but pretty small compared to some I've seen. I got involved with him figuring out how to store feed and for how long as well as where to find it along his route. He also had a small greenhouse (not sure that's the right word) where he was able to grow veg on the boat.
