MJ's little flock

MJ, I remember posting pics of our new coop build a few weeks/months ago when we first started but I can't remember which thread it was on. I hope you don't mind if I continue on here. It's a very different build to the Funrun!

So, hubby had the day off today and added a bit more to the coop before it got too hot to be outside.

That branch will be the main roost. The side closest to the camera will have the pop door in it.

Good evening MJ and everyone 😊

It would be a shame to waste a month off feeling grumpy.

Is the bandage tight to immobilise your arm? I can imagine how uncomfortable that would be. I last broke a wrist 30 years ago and back then I had a plaster cast. Are you other injuries starting to clear up?

I have some kind of splint, but don't know what kind 🤔. My knee has not given out since last Sunday and of course I was on stairs, but Bob was right behind me. My hip continues to give me pain throughout the day 😢 so I hope to get answers at my next appointment.

I bought myself a treat.

It's nearly 100 years old :love

That is just too beautiful for words 😍❤❤ the design and shape says elegance ❤❤

Its like you are using OUR old waterbed! We must have had very similar ones. The wood is gorgeous in its own way. That is going to be a seriously sturdy coop.

Good morning Sue. 🌞

The cascade of injuries from one to the next is always disconcerting. Hopefully it is just a little strained and you start to get back to normal soon. :hugs :hugs

Thank you Bob 🤗🤗 that is my hope as well. Our daughter told me yesterday that I'm not allowed to have any more accidents or injuries as this year has started out horrible!
