Here is this mornings breakfast. Eaten at my work desk (bad idea but you do what you have to). Sydney's egg, sourdough toast, sausage.

Yes, they are super easy to make. I think he put the recipe in the Baker's thread or if your interested we could get it for you.

It has the amateur feel of a school magazine. It's a lovely bit of history.
I believe they have an original copy in the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

I'm going to have another English muffin today with my coffee.

Bob I use this guy's recipe for English Muffins, but I do a double batch and roll the dough out 1/2" thick and then cut rounds.

How many does a double batch make?

Roughly 20 depending on how big you make them. We used the wrong cutter last time and wound up with close to 30.

As they rise the second time and cook, they won't grow in diameter, only in thickness.
