I must ask you about the little container with the oxen. I always admire that when you show it. What is that exactly? And wherever did you find it?

I'm glad you like them. I post the tea stuff on MJ's thread because we all seem to like crockery.
The little ox is a tea pet and the tray is a kind of trivet made for tea pots. They are both made of "purple clay" which is supposed to absorb the tannins from the tea poured over them which eventually create a glaze like effect. I bought them on-line from China using
Ali-Express.

What a thoughtful gift! It's beautiful. How was the tea?

Too strong! I keep adding too much, as if it was a normal size tea pot. But it pours really easily and without dripping.

Thank you Ribh. The tea pot is very light and feels as thin as egg shell. It is delightful to use but I am afraid of breaking it.
