It was good! I got more done than I thought I would and a couple of new things cropped up, as always. Today is booked solid so it's not a great day for getting work done, but tomorrow is not booked up at all, so it'll be a catch up day.

Nope, we had chickens in the garage ( that's where the brooder is ) they needed to go out so we could put our newest babies in the brooder.

I try to manage my schedule such that a balance of meetings and work is achieved. Sometimes it's tricky. Yesterday, a youngster in Canberra politely asked me for a chat about his research and my next opportunity is in three weeks. Sometimes my wait times are even longer. But I flatly refuse to work more hours in a day than I'm obliged to as I won't take work opportunities from other people. That doesn't count my voluntary work though, which often pushes the days or weeks longer.
You do a much better job than me. I strive to be as structured as you are.
Doesn't always work, but it helps.
