Very well, thank you last night I met up with my three best friends for sushi and a bottle of wine and to exchange gifts. I was given a tea towel with chickens on it!

How are you? Will you have visitors for Christmas?

There's a carol I love called the boar's head carol which is part English, part Latin. Epically not politically correct, very much of its time. Steeleye span do a great version of it if you're up for a contemporary folk cover.

"The boar's head in hand bear I
Bedecked with bay and rosemary.."

Though occasionally it would come out as "Bedecked with gay and rosemary" when we sang it, which brought forth mental images of flamboyantly dressed men draped all over the platter.

I love folk rock music. My first boyfriend introduced me to Steeleye Span (and Jethro Tull) as well as the SCA.
