I've had hens roll non fertile eggs right out of the nest. I've often wondered how they know so early on.

I think they're on the cusp of rolling that one out. If it rolls out, I'll candle it to make sure then I'll bin it.

Donk holds the tribes record for time off nest at almost four hours. I was begining to worry.

With Mary moulting and the mums on egg care, things are very odd around here.

I got everything ready. It is snowing like mad right now but we are ready. I am the neighbor who helps everyone. Lots of older people live around me these days.
