Here's an interesting flockservation.

With Ivy to take over, Peggy is taking very long breaks and vice versa. Peggy took an hour off the nest this morning and Ivy took two and a half hours late yesterday afternoon.

That is very interesting.

I also found Sydney's breaks to roughly correlate with the temperature. The hotter the day the earlier she got off the nest and the longer she would stay off. Have you noticed that?

In Peggy, yes.

But not yet in Ivy this time around.

In her previous sits, when allowed to choose for herself she got up irregularly. I didn't notice that she was attuned to the weather, but she may have been. I'll watch out for that in future.
