Ivy is a very pleasant broody and made very little objection to lifting herself up for a tick so I could see the eggs and confirm good depth of straw under them.

Jan 4 egg was top left.

I've changed my poop exclusionary tactics.

That makes three opportunities to scrape poop before coming in the backdoor. Should make a difference of sorts

My thinking is that if the eggs are duds, the sooner they're chucked out, the better.

I've just been outside in the dark candling the eggs and it looks like there are two chicks and one non-starter.
