MJ's little flock

We will. I thought I’d get my tax refund back first.
It's all done on a nation-wide system now. It checks your plan against the guidelines and if the plan is within the guidelines, approval is emailed out (that's what happened in my case). It won't even go past a human.

If it doesn't match up with the guidelines, someone will check it and maybe ask for more info. Doesn't mean a refusal. They can then approve, request an amendment, or disapprove.

So it's faster if you stay within the guidelines.

People are scared of asking because every now and then the media makes a circus when some clown of a developer has an axe to grind because the guidelines changed and he (they seem invariably men) hasn't checked first and needs to urgently build and sell and churn his money to make more of it.

The parachutists are out this morning! I've been watching them float down.

I tried for a photo but this phone's camera is not much chop.

Can you see the blurry object above and to the right of the bend in the rainwater pipe? Not far above. Only a little to the right. Try zooming.

I'll see if I can put a circle around it. Nope. But I put a more contrasty filter on it and cropped out the nonsense.

Still nothing more than a grey parachute-shaped blob but perhaps it's easier to discern.

They look so clear to the human eye, yet the camera is blind to them.

We got the plans for the art studio done up by a professional so that should be fine. He was talking about site inspections though.

Well, he'll need to inspect to make a plan that sits within the guidelines before he submits the application.

I didn't have an inspection by the council at all and that's for a street-facing structural project. I think it's unlikely the council would waste resources on an inspection for an owner-occupied house with a planning application that ticks the boxes.

But the builder and now the engineer have inspected the front verandah, but that's ok, they work for me.

I found them by zooming. Very cool.

Yes, thanks for asking! She's doing really well, she hasn't had any more seizures since she's been on the meds. We need to get her another script very soon but it's been over 2 months.

Nyssa the salmon Faverolle is still wheezing, even after being on antibiotics for three weeks but she seems to be still living her best chickeny life. I'm observing her and will be in touch with the vet next week.

How is everyone at your place?
Oh, right! The seizures! My best frievd’s cat has the same issue. Glad Nyssa is having s good like despite the wheezing.

My girls are good. Lucky started squatting for ne and I think her molt is over. Flash, Minnie and Bridge are hard at it right now. Last here during molt, mini starved herself and got neurological problems. I’m keeping a very close eye on her today. She was sulking by herself, so I captured her, brought her inside and gave her a private feeding. She had some baby bird formula, alfalfa sprouts, cooked brown rice and blueberries. She did not touch the cooked egg or raw egg that I offered. Later when I treated them to beef liver, however, she had a few bites.

It was a truly beautiful day and I did yardwork in my pajamas while the chickens are in a row. They were very active today, which made me happy.
