He did come on site so he could get measurements. He offered to submit the plans for a fee but I said we would do that.Well, he'll need to inspect to make a plan that sits within the guidelines before he submits the application.
I didn't have an inspection by the council at all and that's for a street-facing structural project. I think it's unlikely the council would waste resources on an inspection for an owner-occupied house with a planning application that ticks the boxes.
But the builder and now the engineer have inspected the front verandah, but that's ok, they work for me.
