MJ's little flock

Well, he'll need to inspect to make a plan that sits within the guidelines before he submits the application.

I didn't have an inspection by the council at all and that's for a street-facing structural project. I think it's unlikely the council would waste resources on an inspection for an owner-occupied house with a planning application that ticks the boxes.

But the builder and now the engineer have inspected the front verandah, but that's ok, they work for me.
He did come on site so he could get measurements. He offered to submit the plans for a fee but I said we would do that.

Oh, right! The seizures! My best frievd’s cat has the same issue. Glad Nyssa is having s good like despite the wheezing.

My girls are good. Lucky started squatting for ne and I think her molt is over. Flash, Minnie and Bridge are hard at it right now. Last here during molt, mini starved herself and got neurological problems. I’m keeping a very close eye on her today. She was sulking by herself, so I captured her, brought her inside and gave her a private feeding. She had some baby bird formula, alfalfa sprouts, cooked brown rice and blueberries. She did not touch the cooked egg or raw egg that I offered. Later when I treated them to beef liver, however, she had a few bites.

It was a truly beautiful day and I did yardwork in my pajamas while the chickens are in a row. They were very active today, which made me happy.
Hehehe I often do chores in my PJs too!

I hope Minnie does ok with her moult.

It's a special day!

It's a very comfy cup to drink from. It has a fine edge that sits comfortably on the lower lip.

Have you brewed tea lately RC?
Oh I misread. The cup is certainly a gem but I was looking ok’ing at the pot. Which now I see I have seen before.
And yes, most days. Sometimes more than once a day.

I wondered if you were referring to the pot or had made a typo. I often guess in the wrong direction

The pot is a messy pourer. I like to call it The Dribbler. But it's pretty and has years and years of use in it yet, so I persist. I could always swap to one of the silver pots if I really want a clean pour.

Do you prefer green or black tea?
Black tea with milk and no sugar. Either English breakfast tea or a combo of two parts Darjeeling to one part Earl Grey.

Edited to add: I recently tried an Assam Earl Grey blend. Just a hint of Earl Grey and it was delicious. I am going to experiment with mixing a bit of Earl Grey into my English Breakfast tea and see if it is good.
