Here are the refugees.

I showed them the food and water, then left them in peace to adjust at their own pace.

I'll make time to get some straw and a to set up a nest before I go to the office. Then they'll have the day to settle in before I start bothering them again late afternoon.
They are lovely little red hens ! Actually I think they look in pretty good shape. They seem curious, and of course a tad worried.
I get why you find them so touching 💚.

You've got rescues! :love
I just peeked in the laundry window and one of them had climbed off the log and was looking around. I think they're exhausted from their long car ride, which would've been maybe three hours, and perplexed in their new surroundings. But they've always been pampered pets without a care until now, so they're not rescued in same sense as ex-batts.

The obligatory morning pullet photo :)

They spend a lot of time looking wistfully out the window.

if Mark gives them the all clear on Friday morning, can I cut their quarantine short?

I would not. Some things can pop up late. Mycoplasma for example. I was tortured in the same way as you but I rode it out. You can too.
