MJ's little flock

Actually I wanted to ask you again about Seccordle @RoyalChick 😇.

I’ve played a few times and so far I loose almost as often as I get all the words, which is quite frustrating.
I often seem to fail on the same scenario : trying to guess a word that I already have three or four letters in the right place for. Then it turns out there are several possibilities of words that fit, and my first tries are the wrong ones. And because there aren't many spare wrong guesses I lose. Do you have a strategy to choose which words to focus on first?

Tax. I'm sure I heard him say "Secor-doooo-dle".

Yes. When I fail that is always how I fail.
To avoid that you have to not focus on guessing any one word until you have a very high degree of certainty but rather focusing on bringing in new letters.
So as an example, if you have an xUxxY situation, don’t guess FUNNY or SUNNY, PUPPY or GUPPY. But go for something like PANGS which might eliminate 3 of those options and will most likely get a couple of other of the 16 close to resolution (or maybe it is an answer on one of the 16, helps in two and resolves your xUxxY situation).

And here is Sylvie. She is definitely posing for the camera right? It’s that artfully draped foot, the windswept wattle - she really is a super-model 🤣

Thank you so much, that's very helpful!
Sylvie is lovely ! Wonder if she will grow more dark grey or stay like this.

It is a mystery. I think she is supposed to have a gold colored breast and the rest all grey.
This white seems like it is a mistake or she will molt it out.
She is getting very pink in the face and Bernie is increasingly irritated at her antics - feels like she is maturing fast.

I fall into that trap! I’ll have to remember your tactic.

Here is another chicken or two.

Joyce and Christa are packed up for their trip to the vet. We're leaving in an hour.

My best guess at what's wrong with her is cancer because she eats a lot without getting any larger. Sometimes I think she's getting smaller. I'm confident her diet is nutritious because the other hens are thriving (except Janet, but that's bacteria). Of course, she's moulting which makes her size harder to discern.

It'll be good to have an educated opinion.

The one thing I can say with certainty is that whatever's wrong with her has not curtailed her activities in the slightest. She dragged poor Janet out of the coop yesterday. Janet was terrified and screaming. I was so angry at Christa, I threw my phone at her. She ran off, laughing no doubt.
