MJ's little flock

One day this summer, I was idly watching my broody drinking and started to count her sips. It went on and on, but since I had started counting, I couldn't just stop in the middle of her drinking!

She ended up taking 27 sips one after the other!
It's good to know she kept herself hydrated!

At the end of the day Mary likes to sip and sip and sip ... Ooops can't fit any more in, slight regurgitation. In summer she goes even further and submerges as much of her face as she possibly can and comes up smiling from ear to ear, the old darling 🥰

I only like Earl Grey and Lady Grey every so often. Dilmah is currently my loose leaf tea of choice.
I’ve been drinking it these last months, but I usually prefer plain black or green tea.
I’m not sure it is possible here to get tea bags of good quality, everytime I bought some they looked and tasted like dust. So I always make it in a pot. It's also much less expensive.

I used to love smoked tea ( hope i’m not translating that wrong?) Lapsang Souchong, but apparently five or six years ago the regulations regarding the way it was smoked changed in the EU and I can't find it anymore.

I can see why builders would put milk in strong cheap tea. We have the same logic with coffee, add milk if it's not very good and too strong and it becomes drinkable.

You got smoked right. 😊 I’ve had Lapsang before, I don’t think I was that keen. I’d rather have smoked cheese! 🤭 If I have an espresso coffee, I have to have sugar in it, but if it’s a latte I don’t. And I absolutely despise Lavazza coffee. :sick

Lapsang Souchong is too smoky for me, it's a nice treat but mugs of builders are an important part of my well-being

I really don't like Lapsang at all - don't like the smell of it either.
I too am brewing a pot of builder's tea and will pick a chicken mug inspired by yours MJ!

You can't get decent tea bags in the US either - in fact if you ask for tea in a restaurant in the US you have to think of what is provided as colored water or it will be too much of a shock.

I used to do a nice blend of 2 parts Darjeeling: 1 Earl Grey - it was good with milk. But now I am a committed English Breakfast Tea gal.

It's the right brand but not the right product.

This is the one I meant
