Thanks Bob!I’m looking forward to having a play with Unity to see if I can create some game animation next, although I will be doing some more work with Blazinga soon.
So I did ! I really enjoyed it.Thanks Manue! You can play it on your phone; it will just cut out some of the pictures.
I haven't done videogames since the original Fallout and Myst so I am by no means an expert, but I was very keen on choose your own adventure books as a kid so I was in familiar land. I took a very wrong choice first and died quickly. Then I was able to go further, I appreciated not having to go back to the very beginning every time. The atmosphere works great. I loved the music, it felt spooky but very familiar. I’m not sure the pictures show the same on the phone and on a computer; they appeared a bit dark but still visible, and I also liked them a lot. I didn't explore all the possible outcomes, but I felt the timing was good, enough to get a sense of the setting and the character but not so long that you get tired of it (as was the case in choose your adventure books). And I didn't fing any glitch or mistake either in the text or the code. My only observation would be that if you try a longer work of the same type, maybe you would need to have part of texts and music not as haunted - it's difficult to maintain fear permanently. But I think it worked fine for this piece. I’m very impressed
