Mostly away, but it still catches the afternoon sea breeze so it's a wonderful place to sit at the end of the day and sip a sundowner.

She is quite lovely

I have a cousin based in Berlin whose work takes her all over the world, but she comes home every now and then for Christmas. Katie's her favourite so every now and then I send her an update on how Katie's getting along

Right now Katie's moulting, so I'll save one of her prettier feathers for my cousin.

It's very amusing to think Katie has an admirer on the other side of the planet

She's just hopped up beside me.
