MJ's little flock

Mary will leave when she feels it right, with or without chicks. Let her be your guide. Don't give up until she does. They could be hatching or sleeping beneath her. Try to focus on your meeting today.
Well, there are 6 meetings and an event two of my students are presenting at, so I should be very well-engaged in conversations.

She's drinking well, so that's good. And she's checking her eggs/quiet chicks regularly.

She'll be fine I'm sure.

She's very active. I wouldn't be surprised if I can hear peeping when I get home.

I suppose so. Has she left the nest at all the last few days? Is she talking at all?
She last ate when I was cleaning the nest out a couple of days ago. I'm sure she'll be fine. She can nibble on straw if she needs to.

So she is on lock down. She likely can hear them. I'm guessing something positive is going on.
