MJ's little flock

Thanks for sharing these photos Bob.

Sorry about your dishwasher. I found the new one very easy to install.
I will put the new one in quickly. It's in the garage awaiting installation. I have done a few in my day. I just need time.

I've been soldiering on with Edie's medications twice a day. The routine is get her off the roost at night, drop the towel over her, kneel above her, to keep her steady, open her beak and pop the tablet down her throat. Then pick her up and relocate her to the spare coop for the night because it's so much easier to handle her in a smaller space during daylight. In the morning, I get the towel and tablet, get into the coop without letting her escape through my ankles, drop the towel over her head and wings, and repeat the kneeling and dosing. Then I carry her back to the run and release her to her friends.

Poor darling hates those tablets and I hate giving them to her. I tried all kinds of treats but she just wouldn't eat her full dose, if at all. The paste dried in the heat and she flicked it off. She ate around the liquid anti-inflammatory. It just wasn't working. So we're stuck with forced dosings.

Her symptoms are definitely being relieved. But of course the cause remains unknown until her exploratory surgery.
