That is Veronica's chicken saddle. The idea is great, but the fit isn't. They almost need a waistband to keep them from turning, but I don't want anything wrapped around the body.

I'm not sure how to help it stay on better.

I wonder if adding weights to the hem on both sides would keep it steady.

Alice-pekin x silkie
Phoebe (pheebs) - Brahma
Ash- mix
Daisy- mix
Annie- mix (possibly part pekin)

Yes I find that my crosses are some of the funniest in the flock. The three younger ones run every time they see me but Alice is able to be handled (maybe it’s because we hatched here)

That's a great idea! Rich has some fishing weights, i think I'll see if I can slip them in there. I cheated and bought these.

All the byc friends are proven right: she's not a cockerel! Hooray! I would've been very sad to say goodbye.

She did a great job of her egg song too.

I couldn't see Fat Bird when Tribe 1 headed off to their coop. They've chucked so much soil out now I'm going to have to put some more in.
