MJ's little flock

I know most of the names and I can recognise Fat Bird and Moon, maybe Tap. Punch is the redder rooster I think. And Treacle is the colourful rooster. But I can't put faces to the other names. And I forget who suffered which misfortune.
I'm with you, MJ. Between us we have so many chickens I have a terrible time keeping everyone straight in my head. Apart from the easily recognizable ones I just hope the OP is kind enough to give me a heads up on who we're talking about. :lau

Hello there!

I'm glad you joined in :frow in Australia we're heading for summer but I've heard it will be a mild one, which would be lovely. Much like a winter without snow.

Do you keep chickens?
I think it is more like the chicken keep me MJ. I have 20 or 30 of the rugrats underfoot at any given time. Today I made 4 days worth of scrambled eggs for them.

That's a lot of chickens! My capacity to provide robust care would peter out at about 10 I think.

I remember I once tried to add up all the chickens in the friendship group and we got to number quite large without finishing the headcount. No wonder we're a little foggy on the details.

That is great news. Good for you. Congratulations!
Thanks Bob. It doesn't mean the promotion will come through, but I'd have to be a contender with all the outreach I do. Now that I'm responsible for the old house, the extra money wouldn't go astray.

Tonight's dinner:
Mushrooms Diane on toast, avocado, & home grown silverbeet with a squeeze of lime.
