That's very interesting. I wonder what that's about.I've been getting caught out at dusk recently. I judge roosting time by the daylight left and get the chickens supper ready. Recently the change from dayligh to deep dusk seems to have accelerated and last night and tonight I'm trying to get chickens out of trees when it's got to dark for safe flight. It happens every year and lasts about ten days then the shift seems to settle. I've never been sure if it's my perception or there is a change in how quickly the light goes.
