I think there’s a lady in Sydney who breeds EEs, at least that’s what I was told on FB. Her page is Michelle’s Happy Hens & Ducklings.

Yes, that's her. McLaren Flat and McLaren Vale are side by side.

They will ship eggs & sell breeding pairs & have a back history of the breed in Australia ~ which explains why you are having difficulty. This goes back to 1916 though & doesn't seem to have been updated. However they may be able to put you in contact with a local breeder.
