We don't have anything like that in Australia, but we do have a dish called Fisherman's Basket. This one is served up in a fancy dish. Usually it comes on a plate.

What sort of fishes are available where you live @WhoDatChick ? Here, there's whiting, gar, snapper, flathead, bream. Up where @Ribh lives i think there might be barramundi. Is that right, ribh?

We also have a fish called tommy ruff which are too bony for filleting but they make nice seafood patties.
