MJ's little flock

May I check another detail @BY Bob ? Do antibiotics fade out with time or remain permanently? I been taking it for granted they're digested and absorbed like food, with nothing remaining once that's done. Would I have antibiotics in me after my last course, which was 14 months ago?

You would not. Antibiotics are metabolized and excreted. They are usually gone in a day or two.

We moved when I was 8 . At the new school they knew cursive but, I hadn't learned it yet. The teacher said she had no time to teach me, I would have to learn on my own.
My father wrote the alphabet in cursive and I would copy his letters. Had no idea then, that his handwriting was very poor. :th

Of course his handwriting was bad. Yikes. That could not have been easy.

There are a lot of things that upset me about our education system ~ handwriting is just one of them. Most of mine have very poor handwriting due to the cursive style employed in Qld. We had a run in with YD's umbrella school because she preferred to work in coloured pencils  [visual learner] ~ one reason we moved under a different umbrella. I don't think everyone's brain needs to be trained in the same way. Music & Languages for example set many of the same brain problems math does. I can't do math to save my life ~ even the most basic math is pretty much beyond me~ but I can do logic problems that don't require math, I can do 3D visualisation for constructing Ikea :lau, I can work out languages like a code ~ all math skills & because I am so bad @ math is why YD began music & playing jazz [not just listening] is the only activity that fires all the neurons in the brain @ once ~ so why is music education so low down the learning totem pole? :barnie More than one way to skin a cat, as the saying goes. :D

Thank you! Looking back I think it was a dumb question but I was thinking of antibiotics as living organisms that simply stay put and multiply once they're in a conducive environment, like bacteria do.

Really. "Skin a cat" Davis and I are disappointed. ;)

It was not a dumb question. If it hangs out in chicken eggs for weeks, why not you?
