Back to teaching - when I was a kid (okay so none of you were born yet), I was surprised at how easy it was to learn spelling if the word(s) were in a song.
On the ancient "Mickey Mouse Club," They used to sing EN Cy Clo Ped IA as a teaching aid. I have never forgotten the spelling because I can hear the song in my head.
Earlier than that a commercial used to sing about B-O-S-C-O. It was a chocolate syrup to add to milk. They would mention the name a few times and the brain was all set.
Also in kid's games they would sing about B I N G O- about a big dog.
