She's been strong since her last injection on Saturday. Looking at her right now, her face is a beautiful shade of tomato red, she's standing on one leg, and she's inquisitive in her expression. Moving freely. So I think she's ok this morning. She's not eating just now, but she had some table scraps already and she ate well last night.We're missing most of the heat the rest of Oz is getting, thank heavens! I've watered down the run & sand pit a couple of times for them but that sea breeze is a god send.

Ask your vet about Suprelorin. I think it’s given to dogs to stop them from coming on heat but you can give it to chooks to stop their egg cycle. The downside is; it can be expensive and you may only get 6 - 12 months from one injection.
Here's a photo taken 5 minutes ago. She's put her leg down and showing interest in eating from that plant. The tiny seeds seem to be a treat for her and Janet, but Mary doesn't bother. View attachment 1983300o
