I would love to have my little BG in the house, but he suffers from little man syndrom and crows ALL THE TIME! LOL While I personally find his little crow adorable, Rich does not at least not in the house anyway.

Let me know if it works. I just feel like some of them refuse to understand we are there to help.

So far (one dose of cuddles) it was ok. Flappy but not too flappy and hher trust/resignation seemed to grow over the minute or two.

That would make a nice little shelter. Good suggestion.

It should be quite insulated, but when the ambient temp is so high I'm not sure how much cooler the bale shelter will be. But at least it'll be shady.

Ingenuity. It is a necessary talent when raising and keeping chickens. Great idea for the nesting material.

It was the right size and shape for her needs.

Mostly smoke haze and ash where we are, plus no rain. Quite cool today, which was good.
