I've been talking to Blossom about her attitude towards pigeons. She loves them and has given them all names. She says they're her pets and refuses to hunt them. The native blackbird is her favourite prey, not that she's ever caught one.

The pigeons are one of the reasons I need to build a fully enclosed chicken run.

I sometimes get a pair come into the house. The chickens don't seem to be bothered by them.
