I've been talking to Blossom about her attitude towards pigeons. She loves them and has given them all names. She says they're her pets and refuses to hunt them. The native blackbird is her favourite prey, not that she's ever caught one.

The pigeons are one of the reasons I need to build a fully enclosed chicken run.

This is Hurry. She'll eat from my hand. She'll let me slide my hand under her while she's laying an egg but there is no way she'll let me touch her feathers let alone pick her up. She will follow me though. Her mum was Ruffles and she was much the same.

Nolia. Her legs are getting better slowly. The straw mite damage was quite bad. I need to do her toe nails next. She has one that doesn't make contact with the ground during normal movement.
