I was looking forward to that clever bit. Two parts, look but don't touch and normal, roost together but apart. I hope you can reconceive that portion. I thought the idea was brilliant.

Having slept through half of yesterday, I'm feeling a little better today and will give a bit more thought and sketching to Cluckerston Hall.

Please look after yourself. Too many hours at work will wear you down. You may need to cut back a little.

The four day weekend has helped. Although I'm cutting it short and making a headstart today.

Chicken Palace plan
I hope you weren’t just being polite. Here is the plan for the Chicken Palace.
Covered run #2 has an open run on each side. I can close off access to each of these open runs so I can sow pasture and let it grow. They aren’t open to predators - they will have hardware cloth over them - but open for rain to water the pasture. I plan to alternate sides so that while they are destroying the pasture on one side, the other side is growing.
I will probably switch sides every 3 weeks (depends how fast the pasture seeds grow).

I'm not entirely healthy folks. Bear with me, I may not be able to keep up everything.

Peggy is still broody. I've been letting her sit all day and then I pick her to put her in the safe henhouse overnight. She screams and struggles. It's awful for both of us. Then I put her down gently, she shakes herself, poops and eats. Meanwhile Janet comes over to give me whatfor on Peggy's behalf. They don't understand the fox risk at nighttime.
