I'm sure I've seen them many times before but perhaps without noticing them properly. Those dark feathered hens are gorgeous!

Do you know what I love about these photos? I'm nearly at the end of the teacup collection.... So I'd better go buy some more, hadn't I!!

This teacup was a gift from a former colleague. We were each other's companion on my one and only trip to the US, the highlight of which was seeing the Grand Canyon.

I digress, this cup was a 40th birthday gift (if I recall correctly). It's from a tea shop called T2. Nice butterflies!

So I've lit the wood fire and opened the chocolate biscuits. I'm wrapped in crocheted rugs and I've got nice warm slippers on. If I can't finish the book this afternoon, it's not from want of trying.
