How cute is this little friend of mine. She stood there for fifteen minutes, just keeping company because she's a darling.

It does. There is a signature on the base and the word 'quimper' which is a pottery in Brittany. It looks like a museum piece. Does it have markings or astamp?

I wonder if her night vision is better than her chums.I can't get over those eyes. Extraordinary.
She often stands quietly nearby, blinking at meGood evening everyone
MJ, I love how she is just standing thereshe is beautiful !!
That is magnificent!I'm sure I'll be forgiven for a slight deviation from tea to coffee and cups to pots.
This got thrown out by my father many years ago and in the process got broken. I know, difficult to understand.
I rescued it and glued it back together as best I could. While it is no longer fit for holding coffee, I'm rather fond of it. It's a genuine Breton pot and I think it's older than I am.
