Such beautiful chickens Shad.

The steps look nice and cool.

The bushes on the left of the picture are one of the coolest spots here. Not only is there a double shade layer; trees above the bushes, but because of the slope the breeze that usually blows up the valley from the South has unrestricted route into the bushes. I often sit on those steps when it's hot and chat away to the Tribe 2.

You guys, for the first time ever, a minute ago Mary tolerated me touching her softly in broad daylight!!! And she was out in the yard with plenty of space to run away! To be fair, I don't think she realised I was doing it until it was over, but when it eventually occured to her, she didn't panic, just looked at me with a "how very dare you" expression. I'm calling it a milestone achievement

Charlie squatted for me for the first time in ages the other day! She stamped her little feet when she did it, what is that?! I love it!

I wonder if the assumption is partly the fault of the designers and partly marketing strategy.

I believe it is a generational decision. I am no longer in the marketing segment they desire to reach. They tolerate me but don't really care to have my business any longer.

They're very dear to me. I love seeing them with full bellies and full minds, doing their chickeny business.

Chickens being chickens is my favorite thing to observe.

That truly is a milestone. Congratulations! Great moments those are. Just great.

I found one more teacup! This is one I bought for myself back when I decided brewed tea on weekends was going to be delightful. It's not special, but I like it Pretty darn sure I'm at the end of the teacups now. But I forgot to take a photo until after I'd eaten my eggs.

I really like that one. There is soming about how the stems on the saucer and cup align that I find pleasing. Very pretty.
