Like I would miss Aurora. I get it.I've just had an update on Peggy. She's still on liquids but taking a little solid food. She's also on antibiotic so she must've had an infection slowing her down on top of everything else. They've done a fecal float with results available soon. Today she tried to bite the hand that fed her, so I'd say she's starting to feel better. She's staying on in hospital until she's back on solids, which I'm extremely happy about.
Ivy misses her. I guess I do too. Deep down.

I did but thanks anyway. I just leave them to soak overnight. Although I don't like leaving stuff in the sink for some reason.Carb soda to get burnt stuff off the bottom of pans Shad. Make a thick paste and let it soak. Works wonders! ( But I expect you already knew that...)
I feel as though the change of seasons gets faster the older I get. Scratch that. I think it's everything getting faster.I've been getting caught out at dusk recently. I judge roosting time by the daylight left and get the chickens supper ready. Recently the change from dayligh to deep dusk seems to have accelerated and last night and tonight I'm trying to get chickens out of trees when it's got to dark for safe flight. It happens every year and lasts about ten days then the shift seems to settle. I've never been sure if it's my perception or there is a change in how quickly the light goes.
