Thank you. Ivy seems to be bathing for two minutes every half hour. I'll put it down to Peggy upsetting her mojo.It's not something I've noticed MJ. What I see is extra eating up to five days before they sit. Most tend to become slightly less involved in the group/tribe as sitting date gets closer. Two and three days before most show broody behaviour towards other chickens as in fluffing up a clucking. I say most here because there are the odd few that have seemed fine as usual one day and sat the next. Perhaps I've missed the signs.
Donk for example, one gets at least a weeks warning and she wonders how I find her so quickly.
Nolia on the other hand you need to watch like a hawk. It's the extra eating that gives her away.
