Being buoyant helps a lot. When I was taking my swim tests to get certified you had to float for a period of time to pass. I had like 0% body fat at that time and could not float. Somehow I managed to wiggle enough to float enough to finally pass but it was very frustrating. Now I am 90% body fat and float very well.I am very buoyant. I can lie on the surface of the water hardly moving and rise and fall as I breathe in and out. Whereas I have a friend that sinks to the bottom like you do Shad. He can walk along the bottom to get out!
