We had a Hills Hoist put in! When we bought our place we only had a smallish one attached to the wall that flattened down. It was rubbish for king-size sheets and didn’t hold many loads.

It was when I was part of the mediaeval movement ACM and I belonged to. There was an event over Easter called the Rowany Festival and one evening croquet-by-candlelight was set up. I had never played croquet before, much less by candlelight so I gave it a go! It was heaps of fun! There was a little bell hung from each hoop which rang when the ball went through, and a candle either side of the hoop.

I used to do that many years ago too. Fun times (as a Knight was kinda tough)

I'm in the minority I expect, but I'm not a fan of mealworms. I view them as I do fast food. I know the chickens like them but they are very high in fat and not great for protein.
What they are is easy.

Grubbs (Soldier Fly Larva) are actually better, nutritionally speaking, and easy to grow.
