Southern most part of the Pictish kingdoms. That is interesting lineage.

Why? The east coast of Scotland was all the Pictish kingdoms. By all accounts they were a small people. Tallness is a dominant gene... The Norse were tallish for their times. They arrived somewhat later but I'm sure you can work out how the geaneology might work out.

Actually I thought that was common knowledge...Ever since the Lewis chess pieces were unearthed...Quite a bit of Scotland was Norse @ one time. I only ever seem to know the most useless things.
