Poor dear, hopefully she feathers out soon!Pepper is still moulting. It's a bit blurry because she won't stand still but you can just see how tatty she is poor darling.

Canberra is the same.Adelaide almost never has humidity. Or snow. It's a very dry heat but the temps usually go quite high.
I may wish to consider this so there is no return of the Le Rat.
I loved seeing them! Thanks for the updateThey are!
With the family all having colds I haven’t been as snap happy so I’ve just gone out and gotten some shots (some are reserved for mugs Monday )
Bokky with her new feathers coming in. They are a beautiful darker brown. Still a bit to go before she’s done but going well.

Snow seems to be finishing her final growing up moult. Her tail feathers are all black now whereas she used to have white outlines on them. Fingers crossed it means laying soon

Then this happened. Belle loves to get on my back or shoulder if I’m in the right height range. And here was me thinking she was shy with me because I haven’t been hanging out like in school holidays

And a gratuitous one of Snow and Bok again because...why not

Sorry to flood your thread
At least Adelaide is coastal with lovely beaches. I don't know how I'd cope with a hot inland summer. apart from the hard summers I love my city.Canberra is the same.
Awww does she seem herself in her attitude or a little off?Pepper is still moulting. It's a bit blurry because she won't stand still but you can just see how tatty she is poor darling.

Did she ever catch one? Peggy did once but it got away, leaving her with a mouthful of feathers to spit out.I know of nothing that will keep them away. Lilly spent years trying to drive them off. if that wont work nothing will.

She really is! Following Ivy's lead, Janet has progressed to examining the new bottles without getting too close. She is a daredevil that one!
