I'm so proud of the hens who have learned the morning routine of leaving the big coop and meandering across the yard and into the funrun, with a little help from some sprinkled smidges of lettuce to keep them focussed. This morning's effort took less than a minute, with neither strays nor stragglers, and gets a gold star!

Look at you, acknowledged chicken trainer! Add that to your resume!

Maybe we should reflect on why we are so busy? We have advantages in technology which makes our lives easier than before. Why don't we have time for tea?

I totally agree; and the advent of mobile/cell phones means that we’re expected to be always available. Hands up those who remember ringing a friend’s home number and if they didn’t answer you just tried again later?!

I bought some lovely Chinese tea cups to go with my little tea pot and tea pet. They are not chicken themed unfortunately.

One of the many reminders in my phone says "it's a marathin, not a sprint" and it's been very helpful in reducing the rush in each day.

Yes. They are made separately and placed before glazing I think. The glaze makes it look like they are swimming even before you add tea.

I bought 3 types. The one in my last post is the largest.
