I'm just making this note for myself for future reference. Please ignore it.Good evening folks
Scrambles... For Pain relief the consensus seems to be: "You can give 1/2 of a low dose 81 mg aspirin orally into her beak twice a day for up to 3 days" Children's aspirin is 81 mg, so half of a children's tablet, twice a day up to three days.
I'm glad she sits still for it. If I ever had to massage Aurora's back I would probably makes things worse as she fought me every second. Her balance seems to be a bit better. I am still doing the massages. I don't know if they are helping, or time and natural adjustment to the problem is making the difference. I'll keep up with the massages anyway because it's a good excuse to hold her for a while.
She is a beautiful lady but yes, you are so right. You could easily be confused if you just glanced at her.I can’t get over how much Aurora looks like a salmon Faverolle!
Look at that camouflage! She really blends in.i took this photo yesterday, thinking I'd use it for FBF, but then I noticed all the new tail feathers coming through and decided to share it here instead.
