I watch for it now. You just never know.Nobody ever notices! That's not true, Janet was recently noticed by pedestrians and Sandy was noticed once, also by pedestrians![]()
Great idea.I put it in the picture of the week thread![]()
That was a special day.Great idea.
By the way, I was thinking about this the other day. And this is just my memory of her. I would frame a picture of Sandy at the beach myself. That will always be how I remember her.![]()
I can just see it. HystericalThe mood is rather elevated under the pergola today. Mary caught a large cockroach and everybody noticed! She ran off with it in her beak, up the driveway, pursued by Peggy and Janet. Janet gave up first, then Mary looped around the car and back to the pergola, head up, legs pumping, feet going thump thump thump thump thump (she's a heavy hen), cockroach held aloft, Peggy trailing behind! I assisted by preventing her friends from approaching her and while my back was momentarily turned, she gulped it down. When I looked back there was only one cockroach leg left and then that was gone too. She's still vocalising her joy![]()

I can picture this scene perfectly. When one of my girls catches such a prize, it’s pandemonium! The mood is rather elevated under the pergola today. Janet gave up first, then Mary looped around the car and back to the pergola, head up, legs pumping, feet going thump thump thump thump thump (she's a heavy hen), cockroach held aloft, Peggy trailing behind!
