MJ's little flock

It's very comforting when the neighbours are relaxed.

I've had my thoughts on Appenzeller Spitzhauben eggs for when Ivy goes broody again but they tend to be noisy, squawking like tropical parrots. I need to follow up on this clue and discover if it's hereditary or conditioning.
If they turned out to be too noisy do you think it would be hard to rehome them?

Guess what happened??

I nagged the tradies! And they say they'll find time this week :D

Of course, we all know from experience that they're not as good as their word. So my expectations are not very high, only a little high.
My daughter's contractor just left her high and dry half way through her bathroom remodel. You can't help but not trust people in that business. Too many stories of people left high and dry.

We went with a contractor that we knew to be honest, conscientious and hard-working. They did my MIL’s bathroom, our kitchen and bathrooms.
