It's come out that he was absolutely horrible to his actresses; telling them they were fat, screaming at them, firing Charisma Carpenter for getting pregnant etc and also being a d*** to some of the younger male actors as well. Here a couple of interesting links:

Yes, his creativity was exceptional. However, if you're going to be a garbage human, I think it's impossible to separate the person from the art.

These things are very personal and for me in this case, it's spoiled the art but there are other cases where the art is so strong it withstands the maker's downfall.
