I took a day off today in case I needed to rest after yesterday's az top up. So of course I worked in the funrun for a few hours :gig
Made a shade shelter out of four logs, some lattice and some leafy branches.

And moved the little coop.

Relocated the wine barrel, tipped it on its side and gave it a screen. I'll put some straw in there tomorrow on top of the soil.

And I piled up all the logs to make a climbing frame and shady shelter.

The hens had a fantastic day inspecting all the works and digging for bugs.
Wonderful places for them. Nice job.

On my travels I tend to visit the junk shops and the charity shops, particulalry in the posh areas. Look what I found.

It's made by a potter called Franz and I believe I've mentioned this potter before but it may have been on Ribh's thread.
I have one other piece packed away somewhere which I bought many years ago. Finding this at charity shop price was very lucky. I just can't imagine why anyone would get rid of it let alone in a charity shop!

You have mentioned him before! It's gorgeous. What a find!

I can only imagine it was part of someone's estate and donated by a family member who didn't like it
