I love hearing the roosters crowing! It makes me happy But I would make a bet that someone in the vicinity is angry about it. A shift worker perhaps? Or someone whose baby can't sleep? It's a suburb, and we try to respect one another but getting a rooster may well be asking for more tolerance from some folks can provide.

I like hearing a rooster crow too. My take is if people can learn to sleep through trucks & sirens & heavy motors, horns, traffic, planes etc then sleeping through a rooster should be easy.
