I understand Bob, but I'm not convinced it's suitable for Mary. She's already a slow mover (with possible joint problems) and I don't think a flat surface is her best option for brooding.

I would say to you that a dirt surface will not actually be that much softer for her. It will allow for better distribution and incubation of the eggs but it will be nearly as hard on her legs.

That's true but she could shuffle in it and make herself comfy.

But after reading James Brown's bio I didn't feel like dancing to his music any more. So I switched to this one, which is a gentler warm up (probably a good idea). When it's time to add a second song, I'll choose a real heart-starter

Someone has done 1-hour mixes for just about every year for 30 years. I started listening to the 1993 one and discovered a song that was right up my alley that I never heard before. So I found the album it was from and then purchased the album! It's now on high rotation.
