I am down to one egg. Maggie produced a torpedo shaped egg earlier in the week.
I guess there is a reason my lemon tart recipe that takes a dozen eggs for the filling is more of an Easter thing and not a Thanksgiving thing!

I'm glad she's going to the vet tomorrow. I'll take her two funny eggs along.

She's going to the vet today, so I'll be able to tell you what it is and why Mary's eggs are like that once we're home again.

This is a nice thought! I wonder how many other recipes are linked to the seasons.

Janet and Ivy are upset this morning, wondering where Mary and Peggy are.

But it was never easier to put Mary and Peggy into their boxes than last night. They were very cooperative. Mary even ducked her head under the handle of the picnic basket. Both did very minimal flapping and were very calm riding on my hands.
