Not convinced precautionary cleaning works.

Me neither. The chemical will fade and mites can infect any point after that. I don't care for any treatment without a problem. Resistance to these chemicals is a real thing. The more you use them the less effective they will be.

Your misting system looks great !!

It's the same brand I put in the fox proof coop a couple of years ago. That old one is still working great, but yesterday I realised it's probably time to clean it's filters and misting nozzles.

It's been really good for the hens. The kit was less than $30 too. Small price to help the hens on scorching summer days.

Mary enjoyed a morning snack for about a minute until Peggy's insistent rapping on the container with her beak overcame her and she stepped aside.
